Let me explain one thing and only one, I cook rice in Instapot horribly. It burns every time regardless of the settings, how much water I put in it, how many times I use the pot in pot method. It's been three years. No, I'm not exaggerating, and yes, I've tried everything to master Reis in these three years. Otherwise it works, but with rice you have to have some kind of mastery to make it happen. I still ate it like this and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best. I decided to buy this just to see if rice can be cooked here so at least there is a reliable way to make good rice. .and… WOW! It didn't burn, it was just how I like it, no mushy or mostly watery rice that looks like vomit. Consistency and taste were perfect from the start. I followed the directions but added 4 cups of rice, 5 cups of water and a few ounces more. All this on the first try because I tested it. Of course I didn't expect everything to be perfect from the start because I was new to this field and secondly because I already followed the instructions which means I got the basic idea so I went my own way, by adding more rice than recommended. But I've adjusted my vision accordingly. Although the time was the same. One who gives instructions. What you see in the pictures is the first day and you follow the basic instructions but add more than recommended lift and water but still give the same time as the instructions. It turned out amazing! Never use Instapot for rice again. i am a believer I've used it three times already and the rice still comes out perfect. This is a mini device in itself. Reliable rice texture and great taste! The price is good too. I bought it for $15. Cons: NOTHING!
