It was what I needed.
I needed this for my 2019 Kia Sorento. My previous Hyundai Sonata had a hum system installed. The key connects to OBD. On the Sorento, there is not enough room for the key on the OBD cover. This ribbon cable allowed me to connect to the OBD and move the key to the side under the lower dash. The connector on the main OBD still touches the OBD cover but allows me to close it.
