As someone else pointed out, this is NOT PCIE x4. I wasn't aware of this before ordering. But I'm very happy with the results. I used one to upgrade my daughter's PC with 1TB of additional storage (ADATA Falcon). And I used the second one to upgrade my system (another 1TB Falcon). If you have an old computer (I have an i5 2500K) without an M.2 slot, there are ways to hack your BIOS and use a PCIE adapter like this and an M.2 NVMe drive (google "NVMe support an AMI UEFI BIOS ", but there are dangers. Read the entire manual!). On older PCIE 2.0 motherboards and a x1 slot, you won't see much improvement over SATA III (6GB) - there's a small trade-off .Maybe I'll add photos of HDD benchmarks later. But I ordered a real x4 card (looks like a full x16 but we'll see) So my new bootdisk is in flight!
