After purchasing a Scotch 2 roll laminating system (TL901) last year I decided to use laminated name tags at an annual event where my friends and I attended around 150 entertain people. Printing the badges on paper (instead of cardstock), laminating them, and buying decent ribbons was cheaper than Avery's pre-packaged badges. This required extra effort as I had to drill a hole for the lanyard in each name tag, so I wouldn't want to do this for a thousand people. However, it worked well for our size class. As with all Scotch laminating pouches I have purchased to date the quality is top notch.
