Maybe not the best option.

Bought these racks for my 2005 TJ in December. When I installed them I noticed that they were very stiff, but I argued that since they are new they should loosen up a bit after use. Fast forward to April, now that the weather has gotten warmer, they're so stiff they're causing the brackets bolted to the rear window to rotate and loosen the strut. I tightened the brackets as tight as I dared since replacing the rear window costs about $600. (Don't ask me how I know that.) I think I'll go to my local parts store and buy more. If they have more appropriate pressure, all the better. If not, I'll go to the dealer. (sigh!) So, buy them if you want, hopefully you will have a better result. I'll miss the return window so it's on me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some issues
