Complete rubbish, don't waste your time and money!

MADE IN CHINA! Do I have to say more? OK, then I'll do it. These struts broke when I first closed the tailgate on my Jeep TJ. I was assured these are the right racks for my TJ but found them worse than MADE IN CHINA bullshit! I will NEVER buy shelves from China again!

Piece of shit. suitable for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Within a week they began to detach from the ball to which they were attached. He fired once and broke the plastic cover attached to the window hinge so I had to use one of those. On closer inspection, the spring clip that is supposed to be attached to the sphere is made of too soft material and does not retain its shape, so that it practically falls off the sphere when trying to open the window. Best advice, buy a Mopar factory kit like me, in this case you get what you pay for.

Suitable for TJ hardtop. Great lifting power.

I bought these to replace the OEM lifts on the rear glass hard top of my Jeep TJ. They were easy to install once I figured out the best way to do it. Note that they can also easily be fitted upside down, so be mindful of the orientation of the lift you are removing. I was/was a little surprised at how much buoyancy they provide. That seems excessive for my glass sunroof. I feel like I have to be careful when closing the hatch not to break the glass. It would be nice if you could adjust the…

Excellent quality. Installed great work and good price

I replaced the kit on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler, it was very expensive to remove the old one. I just took the metal ring off and it came off immediately. I put the new one on when I take off the old one so Vindo can hold me. The new ones are strong and open and close the window very smoothly and very evenly. I am very happy with them and the price was great. As always, I hope this review helps others because. Other reviews help me a lot if I read them before buying. I wish everyone a blessed day.

VERY stiff but suitable for tall people

Clip insert is smaller than original so you need a smaller flat head to attach. VERY VERY stiff right out of the box, nearly shattered the back glass when I tried to even close it. I took them both off, pressing them down on a piece of plywood 20 times with my body weight, causing them to close. Still very stiff but at least I can close my window now and they hold it up very high which is fine for me at 6ft 3in tall. Too much hassle and I'm still a little scared they'll be too tight. if it…

Maybe not the best option.

Bought these racks for my 2005 TJ in December. When I installed them I noticed that they were very stiff, but I argued that since they are new they should loosen up a bit after use. Fast forward to April, now that the weather has gotten warmer, they're so stiff they're causing the brackets bolted to the rear window to rotate and loosen the strut. I tightened the brackets as tight as I dared since replacing the rear window costs about $600. (Don't ask me how I know that.) I think I'll go to my…
