This item is a great way to control traditional lighting with your smart home network. The prerequisite for this is a Smart Home Hub with ZigBee radio. I use this on the Hubitat but it should work fine with Smart Things or Alexa devices with a built in Zigbee radio (Echo Plus etc.). This switch was fast and responsive on my local smart home system, although the cloud systems would likely add some lag. My favorite feature is the manual input switch. This allows you to add a true wired switch into the circuit to turn on the connected device. This overrides any status set by your smart home system. Also, the status of that switch, at least on the Hubitat, is instantly updated on the smart home network, so you can use it as a smart trigger with a regular switch without having to fill in the L and N on the relay box. Zigbee water valve on a Hubitat with a different manufacturer name. The circuit may have been borrowed from another product.
