All my pots and pans are tightened and this was a great addition. I use it over the stove to boil 1-2 eggs for my baby and to reheat small meals. It's easy to clean. I use a friend's bartender when needed, but I think I've learned with all stainless steel items not to turn on the stove right away. Do this little by little and you won't get those weird spots on the bottom of the pot after boiling water (they still go off with a bartender friend).
