This system worked very well between my wife in the background and I. My setup is a modular helmet. So the standard boom mic worked just fine. The full-face helmet really helped with noise-cancellation, especially when highway speeds were pretty high (just keep up with traffic, officer). It was pretty easy to install. The wiring was a little tricky, but not bad. My wife's installation was a bit difficult. She has a 3/4 helmet with a protective mask. It also has a sun visor with a slider on the left to lower the visor. I had to get an extension boom kit to install it. The extension uses VHB glue on the mounting bracket. The mount sits next to the sight controls, so mount placement is fairly limited. Since her helmet is 3/4 size, at higher speeds (over 65 mph) the mic often increased and noise cancellation became difficult due to the wind. Microphone placement was critical. She tended to place the mic a little farther from her mouth than optimal, so the noise was a bit of an issue. We used these devices for 7 days and the batteries lasted a full day on an overnight charge. I had an initial problem with firmware updates. but I think it was a problem with Win10 or possibly a virus/firewall scan. I was able to update my second computer (it appears to be a Macbook running OS X 10.13) successfully. This seems to have surprised the Cardo support team. All in all, this was a great purchase that has greatly increased our flexibility in our adventures. Some action with Tony Stark by the way - it's always fun to take a phone call from my son while we're speeding down the highway in Texas, what's cooler!?!
