Really Nice Coms Best in Helm Connection

These cardo connections work very well. Telephone communication was very easy. Noise cancellation is very good with a microphone on the helmet. If used with a modular helmet, you will most likely need the included boom mic. The boom mic picks up a little more outside noise. Music and phone calls sound great and clear. All in all, these comas are really good.

Bought two - love it

Pros: Good battery life Volume is loud enough even with earbuds Decent range (bike to bike) Voice control! Basic functionality but very useful FM radio Small/lightweight Easy to install Easy to control while driving Can be cable charged while driving Better than two different old Cardo models I had Cons: Changing radio stations while driving is a bit awkward Decent bike range for bike, but definitely not a quarter mile even in ideal conditions.

A very good communicator.

Great for communicating with others. A few cons, one of which is that I haven't figured out how to turn on GPS audio cues and still chat with others. Works with radio and music on, but not with BT connection when talking to other drivers. I'm not sure if that's the case or if I'm doing something wrong. Another disadvantage is that the radio reception is very uneven. If you're using real FM radio, you'd better connect to a radio app or your music playlist. .

Cardo and JBL rock out for Protective Gear

The main reason I bought them is the music. I've had them for a few years now and I really like everything except sharing music. This feature just sucks. The woman downloaded her own, so it's not as important as it was in the beginning. I was so disappointed even after the software update that I almost sent them back. A communication function that I use more than expected on long journeys. The ability to turn on music on your commute is amazing thanks to the high-quality JBL speakers. I only…

Much better than I expected.

I like it. Voice commands work well (I'm a fast talker so I have to convert "Hello" to "Hey Siri" or "Hey Cardo", but other than that I always get it right). Sounds better than the integrated helmet and imitation I was planning to use while being cheap. The microphone is impressive. Nobody understands that I ride a Harley on the freeway. Somehow they don't hear the wind noise I made and they say it sounds like I'm sitting at home talking to them. The intercom works too. The impeller is light…

  • There's something to it

  • Not sure

Installation was easy. The quality is very high. The sound is great. Working with buttons or voice commands works great. When my wife and I ride motorcycles together on the road, we can speak and listen to each other clearly. The clarity is amazing and the noise cancellation circuitry and mic do a great job. We can talk to each other or share music or FM radio (FM and voice. Yes. Bluetooth music and voice. No). The sensitivity and selectivity of FM radio is amazing. We both use 32dB foam…

This is a great product

It's great. I bought it because my wife and I were traveling. She wanted to be able to talk to me. I was afraid of them because I ride a Harley with a loud exhaust. They work great up to around 65mph, after which you can still communicate fairly well, but wind noise at speed is more of an issue than exhaust noise. Syncing with the phone is easy and the sound quality is good at low speed, but at high speed the sound quality becomes a little less pleasant. I've had very good phone calls with it…

Great audio and communication solution for cycling.

Over the years I have purchased and used many helmet communication solutions from many manufacturers. So far these are my favourites. The JBL speakers sound very good and are definitely worth the extra charge. The devices are unobtrusive, easy to install and packed with features. I won't bore you with all the details, you can check the manufacturer's specifications. I've used them on a variety of trips, from solo to groups, urban and mountain. Now these are my favorite communicators. Pros:…

Exceeded expectations

This system worked very well between my wife in the background and I. My setup is a modular helmet. So the standard boom mic worked just fine. The full-face helmet really helped with noise-cancellation, especially when highway speeds were pretty high (just keep up with traffic, officer). It was pretty easy to install. The wiring was a little tricky, but not bad. My wife's installation was a bit difficult. She has a 3/4 helmet with a protective mask. It also has a sun visor with a slider on the…
