Instructions say to drill a 1/8" hole in the frame to mount the transom mounts. Not correct!. You will never get frame bolts with a 1/8" hole. If you try, plan a trip to the hardware store to buy new bolts to replace the stripped ones. I ended up with a 5/32" hole drilled to get the screws to work. I also decided to replace all the screws that came with the mirrors due to the poor quality of the screws. Over time I'll probably buy small screws and drill through the frame on both sides to attach the mirrors. I doubt the screws will last long. Mirrors are big but made of plastic. If I had to remodel I would pay more for a higher quality mirror. Live and learn I think.
