I'm sure it's great in certain situations. It's a little darker than my walls. I have one but will be buying a second one now as I know I will be using it. I chose to use these because for some reason the house we bought had a satellite TV with cables that didn't go into the bottom of the walls. They run a little higher than the middle of the wall and we have a short tv stand and I don't want to mount the tv to try and hide the cables because the tv will be on a higher level,
