Overall this is a great bottle. The idea behind this design is brilliant. Keep the stone close but not "in" the liquid itself. There are many stones/crystals that should never be placed directly into it. A case in point is the black tourmaline picture I received. I separated the stones for comparison. The darker the rich black color, the higher its class. The lower quality soils pictured have a higher white or silver content. In the lower right corner is a rock that looks like a piece of rusted iron, which is not uncommon in a schorl. FYI: DO NOT put these stones in plain water to drink! I have several bottles that you can craft directly. Quartz crystals are fine. More like crackling quartz, which is fine with me. I checked the bottle for leaks myself by pouring water into it and turning it upside down to find leaks. Nothing found. I did this because it was in a box that looked used, a little torn and taped at the top. Suspect as a possible return and send again? And that's why I gave one star less and got a mix of tourmaline stones. You get a decent amount of gems/crystals and a nice case to protect the bottle.
