Siren and strobe combo
When mounting high and inaccessible it makes sense to place the strobe down, so I mount it upside down. Also, it's only one device, not two as pictured (January 2018). Installed recently so let's keep an eye on it. The strobe and siren can be wired separately as most of the best alarms will turn off the siren after a few minutes, but the strobe will continue to alert until manually reset.
