Removing ice is one of the simplest tasks. The flexibility of the shell makes separating sticks very quick and easy. This is a double-edged sword, however, as filling the tray can be a bit tricky. You need to take proper care of them as they can spill even with the lid closed if you don't use both hands. And forget to put anything like other ice cube trays on it. They have to crush everything or they will shrink and spill their contents. Putting them on top of each other is fine, but I can't put anything else on top.
