Review on Corki Computer Interface Compatible Handlebar by Chad Siofele

Revainrating 2 out of 5

You get what you pay for, you might want to pay them a little more.

The product itself is ok and very cheap but the materials feel cheap and flimsy and I'm always not sure if my Garmin is really safe because every time when I ride on uneven pavement my Garmin moves to the point where it sometimes detaches from its mount (never banged or dropped, just stays unlocked and tilted until I level it again, but I always ride with one Garmin loop on the handlebar). The feature I was most looking forward to was the GoPro mount, it does the job, but when I first tried to mount my GoPro the mount gaps for the GoPro mount were so narrow that it got through cut the plastic of the GoPro body. Later I had to open it by poking around with a spatula and now it works perfectly, I just didn't go back until one reason was the screw holding the bracket to the handlebars, such poor quality I fixed it with one 4Nm torque wrench snagged the screw head removed 4Nm ago and now the mount is stuck to the handlebars of my bike until I can find someone to take it off for me. So spend a little more and go for better quality in my opinion if you're a road or mountain biker, if it's just for a commuter bike and you don't go fast or anything, it does the job.

Pros
  • Mounts your cycle computer in front of the bike handlebars for optimal viewing
Cons
  • Operating speed
