Copied the card straight away with no problems. but I can't update version

I liked how I just inserted my card (125mhz card 5577) and simple prompts allowed me to copy it to another card that came with it. When I checked for a software update and plugged it into the computer (REMOVE THE BATTERIES to see it as a USB device) it couldn't find the server. Is there help here? Many Thanks.
