Spend a few dollars more and buy another lift. The equipment is fine. The problem is the so-called rope that comes with the kit. In fact, this is not a rope, but a thin braid. The rope didn't snag on the stop when lifting the bike due to its thinness. I had to go and buy a thicker rope. I do not recommend this product unless the manufacturer changes the included rope for a stronger one. I have other lift sets with thicker rope and they work great. A set with a current rope is not safe to use as the stopper will not engage and the bike may fall off. The attached photo shows the thin braid included in the kit.
