- Windows 10 / USB 2.0 - Edit: Improved connectivity after removing the Bluetooth dongle from my Wi-Fi adapter. I'm not sure why I didn't try it first. It seems to have fixed the most serious problems, but there are still some of them, but it is definitely more convenient to use and does not cause headaches. I am changing my rating accordingly, especially since the customer service is significantly better than that of many other providers. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the adapter, but I can be 10 or 15 feet from it and put my foot between it and the device I am. When I use (PS4 controller and Bluetooth headset) and block his line of sight I get interference which causes the audio in my headset to cut out and disappear and my PS4 controller to shut down and become basically unusable. This doesn't happen when my headphones are plugged into my Samsung S8+, I can walk 40-50 feet before my headphones have problems. Also, my PS4 controller has no trouble connecting to my PS4 as I can travel the same distance before having connection issues. I don't recommend this for people who need Bluetooth to be reliable in many different scenarios. If you want an unobstructed line of sight between the adapter and your Bluetooth device, this is a good buy. Luckily he doesn't have to do more than he can. I'm not sure if it's an adapter issue either, but I don't think this device works well with multiple simultaneous connections. Using a Bluetooth headset and a PS4 controller at the same time exacerbates the problems. I'm a gamer and my computer can handle pretty resource intensive tasks at the same time, so I don't think it's my computer. Headphone issues are still noticeable when I'm just running Spotify on my computer with no other Bluetooth devices plugged in unmodified, just with a controller and a game running (like Rocket League). When my controller is connected via USB, there are no such problems. I can't test the wired connection with the headphones because they don't support them (Sony's fault). You can also use this adapter to connect unsupported PS4 Bluetooth devices (e.g. my headphones) to the console. Sony is to blame again. Generally the price is what you get for doing her job but then taking a two hour break and expecting to get paid for that break even if she was an hour and a half late. Pros: Cheap, works out of the box on Windows 10. Cons: Poor connectivity, not very reliable, and not worth the extra shipping cost (I used Prime for free shipping).
