I'm a researcher in pharmacy. I have been measuring pH professionally for over 20 years of my life using equipment that is both far more advanced and far less advanced. I bought this to get a more accurate pH reading in my jellyfish tank than the old fashioned color indicators. be. But I haven't even gotten to the point of comparing the results it gave me to what I got at work to see exactly how close that is. I couldn't even calibrate the thing. It seems to be reading the first pH buffer fine, but when you follow the directions for buffer 2 it doesn't work as it should and just re-reads your buffer 1. I've been trying this for about 20 minutes with no success. Unless I, a professional chemist with years of experience and more than a hobbyist aquarium owner, can calibrate it in 20 minutes. Keep looking, this one won't help you.
