I was apprehensive about this product when I first bought it because I wasn't sure that: 1. The bristles proved effective in cleansing my skin ( compared to my previous favorite, the Ax showerhead) and lasted a long time too2. The fact that the entire scrubber is silicone means my body wash is wasted as it doesn't lather up like my ax body tool or a regular washcloth. Both issues have been removed, although I think issue #2 is still minor. a problem because I don't think this scraper will hold shower gel and foam as well as other tools, but it's close enough that I think its other benefits outweigh this small minus. What I really like about this cleansing tool: - The silicone is very soft, so I can easily use the cleanser in the shower, even if I have tanned skin - Being made of silicone, it is virtually impermeable Soapy water, dirt, etc. will ruin it in a short time - it holds shower gel/soap much better than I expected. Why I took off a star: - While I was impressed with how well the scrubber holds body gel/soap (compared to my expectations), it still falls short of other shower/loofah products - I would like the back of the scrubber to be off made of a stiffer material. I feel like it flexes too easily, sometimes causing it to slip out of my hand easily. Otherwise I love this new shower cleaner and even bought a second one to take with me when I travel!
