It was necessary to read the reviews. I ordered the device in April. I tried to connect it to Wi-Fi for several days before finally giving up and calling support. After a few days of trying to find and fix the problem, it turned out that my device is defective and I have two choices. 1. Accept a $50 gift certificate to cover the cost of the defective WiFi module. 2. Send them photos of my device with the power cord cut in half and they will send me a new device. I chose option 2 because I bought this device for smart features. So I went with wire cutters, cut off the power cord and emailed everything. Today I get a response that they are currently out of stock and they send me a gift certificate for the value of my device. And here I am, June 3rd, it's about 80 degrees outside, I have no air conditioning at all. (Not to mention the $400+ I spent on all those fancy features). The device itself actually has a nice, slim design and just looks good, but it's useless if the smart functions don't work and the power cord is cut. . Based on the reviews many people have this problem, Frigidaire should probably discontinue this product until they can get it working properly.
