Review on GPX HM3817DTBK Music System Remote by Dale Emmel

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Presets only work in one direction ☹

Sound quality is good when you adjust it. It was a very tinny, high-pitched sound in rock music, but when I switched it to pop music, it got better. However, I was very disappointed with the features. There are 20 FM station presets, but there's no turning back. So if I'm listening to a station on preset 5 and want to go to preset 3, I have to cycle through all 20 presets to get to 3. I am very dissatisfied with this because I have stations that I listen to at night and stations that I listen to during the day so I want to be able to switch them at will. The remote control is very small, easily lost and difficult to read. ☹ Edited a few days later to add: Since using the remote was next to impossible in my bedroom, I put this system in the living room where it receives ONE FM station. Sure, I live in a rural area with a few strong radio stations, but much cheaper radios can handle at least three or four FM stations. I'll sell it (or give it away) and buy something else. I think you get what you pay for.
