Review on ☕️ Chemex 8-Cup Pour-Over Glass Coffeemaker with Glass Handle - Exclusive Packaging by Vanessa Carstens

First of all I highly recommend Chemex and love the product and the coffee it makes. However I would suggest buying direct from Chemex or to buy locally know what you're getting I received a broken classic 8 handle mug and quickly ordered a replacement the first and second are very different the first was a gift so I'm not sure who the Order followed, but the second came from Barista Labs (which according to the Chemex website is an authorized seller). However, the second Chemex seemed a lot cheaper to me than the first one I received. On the bottom of the second block was "Chemex " stamped. The first block was much heavier than the second (even broken and without the top, it weighed more than the second block (see photo) 574 grams versus 500 grams. The first block seemed v From the spout running to the handle, the second block seemed obvious. In the photos on the Chemex website you can see that then they all look different. Overall the first block was better done than the second despite being broken (who knows what happened along the way). The second block seems very light and fragile. I'm not sure if I should just return it or try my luck with it. I've used it and it makes a great mug, just like other chemexes I've used. I'm not sure if this is a Chemex issue or do I have a fake? I'll check locally to see if I can tell a difference.
