Review on UPTab USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Adapter 4K@60Hz (Graphite), Type C Compatible by Robert Pierce

I am using this adapter with a 27" Apple Cinema Display Model A1316 and a 2018 Mac Mini. When I start the Mini from sleep the adapter works fine. BUT when the Mac Mini has been powered OFF, I get no PICTURES on the screen after the mini completes its boot up sequence. The screen is black. To get a picture I have to unplug the mini display cable from the adapter and then plug it back in. This will make the mini and the display "Reconnected" and I get the picture. As you can imagine it's a hassle and I'm not too keen on disconnecting and reconnecting cables due to wear and tear. I haven't read any other reviews where others have had this problem have, but I'm wondering if it's because very few people ever shut down their computers and don't realize the problem exists. Is anyone else facing this problem?
