My 3 year old doesn't want to bother putting shoes on and off. You are perfect. He can do it himself and is light enough to be fast. Although I don't condone it, he can even take them off without undoing the velcro. He's been wearing them non-stop since we got them a month ago and so far they're holding up well. His feet don't smell and there are no places where they seem to chafe or bother him. The only complaint I have is the color choices you make. There are two very different types of shoes for sale. On one style, the upper enters the sole closer to the edge, while on the other, it enters closer to the center, wasting a large margin of the sole. My eldest 5 year old son who has wide feet chose the color which we had to return because they were so narrow. We have a different style and he loves it, but it was hard to give up the color he originally wanted. In general, I will pay them every year. I'll update the review at the end of the summer if for some reason they didn't last through the season.
