I am responsible for IT in a small company with about 50 users. When the pandemic hit and everyone started using Teams, Zoom, etc., I searched long and hard for a quality webcam that would control the window lights behind my users and allow them to easily pan and zoom the camera without Having to use software provision for these settings. Then I found this Avaya camera with a remote control. This webcam is amazing. With the remote control, users can easily zoom/pan, and there is also a "Light" button that toggles the camera's light function. While no camera can be perfect when aimed at a person with a large sunlit window behind, that "bright" toggle button helps. Much better than software dimming. I initially ordered three of these for testing purposes. Then, after a warm welcome from my test subjects, I ordered 25 more for the rest of the people who needed one in my office. We've been using it for three months now with no problems. users love them. I've found that it's best to plug them into a super-fast USB port directly on a laptop, docking station, or desktop processor. When I plugged them into the monitor's USB ports, I don't think they're getting enough bandwidth or power to keep them happy. Again, I highly recommend these cameras. Thank you Avya!
