I've been wearing microfiber clothes for a long time and mostly in the kitchen. I bought them because I thought the black color would hide stains better than the gray (different brand) I bought from Target years ago. Unfortunately, these garments are very poor at absorbing moisture, so the "non-absorbency” ratings are spot on. Why they perform so poorly isn't clear, as they're the exact same materials as these gray ones. A quick test I did was splashing water on my granite countertops. Shades of gray absorb water and creak on the countertop surface. They simply absorb some of the water but leave behind a significant amount without squeaking. Luckily Revain has a great returns policy and I sent them back. Save yourself the hassle and look for another product.
