The locks work perfectly, the anchor plate has no adhesive backing.
The cable lock is what I bought it for as I already have space to lock. However if you are buying this for the cable lock AND the anchor plate please note that my anchor plate did not have a 3M adhesive pad on the back to attach it to the laptop. So to justify my 3 star rating. I gave the locks 5 stars and the anchor plate 1 star. 5+1=6, 6 stars / 2 items = 3 star rating.
