I have a Subaru that has just done 150,000 miles and I am having transmission problems. I drive 150 miles to and from work every day, so turning on the lights becomes a real stress. I had to ask my friend to check the codes for me with his reader every time something came up. In the end I decided to get my own reader and I'm glad I decided to do it. It's easy for me to use and understand. Well worth the money considering the diagnostic report is about $130 at my local Subaru dealership.
