This scale is just plain wrong. No, that's probably right, but for coffee you want to weigh things, and one of the things you might want to weigh is the Hario V60 setup. You know, it's the classic cone pouring attachment and the plastic stand that holds the filter holder. So there are two good ways to use the scale with the Hario setup. I might keep it as a dosing scale or as a backup. I wanted to use it as a spare scale but it just doesn't work for me. If I had used a different casting device it might have worked for me.
