UPDATE: 2 years in and the flickering is a huge annoyance. It now takes a very long time to have the lamp warm up. Note, TOMSOO has never contacted me. guess they couldn't care less.Love this lamp. The warm light is great on the eyes and doesn't have the harshness of typical of white LEDs. The magnifying glass is large and the lamp makes it easy to adjust over whatever you want magnified. My only issue is after about 18 months of use it started flickering when I turn it on. I tried several things in trouble shooting, but to no avail. Finally figured out that if you lower the brightness the flickering stops. Then once the lamp warms up, you can increase the brightness to full. Note, if you go through this process too fast it will start flickering again as you increase brightness. Just back it down a level or two till it stops and try increasing it a bit later. Annoying? Yes, but when you can't return it, it's the next best thing. Hopefully TOMSOO will fix this in future versions.
