I needed to upgrade cables on a small welder that came with 6" wires and wanted to upgrade to 2 GA. wire at the same time. I was concerned because these 10-25 connectors are usually limited to 4ga cable or 25mm^2 metric cable, which are very hard to find. When they arrived I noticed that they came with a copper wire wrap, which I wasn't expecting, but I was also concerned that it would further degrade the 2ga wire continuity if I used it. It turned out I could use the wrap and the wire went in easily, but I had to place the connector in a vise while tightening the set screw to straighten it so I could slide the cover back. The connectors make a good firm contact with the welder and hold the wire very securely.
