I bought this pan to use for pancakes and technically it works. I can bake pancakes on it. Heat distribution isn't very good, but I understand you get what you pay for in that regard. For the price, I can deal with uneven heat distribution. What really confuses me is the durability. I am attaching a picture below of the chipping that occurred after only two uses (it progressed with more use). I'm not particularly strict with my pans (I hand wash them all instead of putting them in the dishwasher) so the fact that they started cracking after a few batches of pancakes really bothered me.
