So this is the second and third time I buy this band. I resell road bikes to make extra money and also to ride good bikes and buy expensive parts for my personal bikes. The photo shows a motorcycle Specialized Tarmac Pro 5000.00 2010, new. It was a bike I wanted to flip but decided to keep. So I don't want cheap junk on my bike. Now when flipping bikes I try to be more budget conscious than my personal stuff. The last film I personally used is a Specialized branded film on my Allez. which can cost anywhere from $30 to $50. I've ridden over 4000m with no problems and I personally love it. Now that I plan on keeping the Tarmac, I've decided to get some more Specialized foils for it next time I have the money. After spending a few days and about 50 miles on this band, I'm struggling to find the difference in feel between the two. So I leave it. I can't confirm the enduring potential of the wraps. But it definitely feels expensive. At a very affordable price. I will update if quality becomes an issue. Now consider some complaints about low ratings. First the friction band is loosened. I've ordered 3 times as I said before and got both sticky and friction style when ordering. There were never any problems when unpacking. If your wrapper isn't bound, it's because you didn't do it right. Depending on the side, the steering tape must be guided in such a way that it does not unwind when grabbing/retrieving. Start overhanging about half over the hole at the bottom of the pole. Insert the protruding tape into the hole, insert the plug. So the way we hold the rods naturally requires the wrap to overlap, starting on the right hand side, going clockwise to the shed. After passing the lever and entering the bar passage, switch to counterclockwise. The left side is opposite the right side you just made. Also be careful not to pull too hard, I broke this material in the middle of the bar and had to buy more. Secondly, it is just enough to make poles. Too much overlap and you won't get enough. I overlap about half the width of the ribbon and it comes out nice. For tape, make sure the sticky materials are always in contact when packing. the result is about half as wide as it should be. I didn't use the logo tape either. It just didn't look right to me. I have added photos of this work. I apologize for the blurry pictures. My normal camera just died. Hope this helps some of you. UPDATE 02/25/18 After about 1000 m springy feeling of the tape at the most used points on the handlebars. I bought and, as I write this, am waiting for my Specialized tape, which is still holding on my last bike after 4000+ meters. However, for the price, I would still use this tape for bike flips. But for my personal use, I'll just spend the extra money on a much better band. I have downgraded my score from 5 to 4 for the above complaint.
