I love these hangers, they slide in with your thumb, press down and you're done. They are ideal for light spaces between joists. They use levers to hold them in place and are great for pictures, frames etc. I wouldn't use them for anything heavier than a review as the easier installation also means they don't hit the wood behind"hit". drywall. They pop out with a flat head screwdriver to pry them off easily and can be reused. So yes, this leaves a tiny hole in the wall, but it's MUCH smaller than any dowel/screw combo and I like them better than adhesive hooks.
