Every bird that comes to our yard loves it, and that's a lot of birds. Unfortunately, so do squirrels, so I spend a lot of time chasing them away. Can be mixed with seeds, served on a platter, or in a nugget feeder. If you're using a nugget feeder, the Perky-Pet 395 10" Sunflower and Peanut Seed Feeder is your best bet. Don't worry about them looking like wire, they're hard to fill and not as strong. If it is You are interested, we have the following birds, all of which eat lard: woodpeckers, tits, goldfinches, house finches, indigo buntings, cardinals, wrens, sparrows, pigeons, hawksbill, titmouse, etc. The price here is higher than Walmart, and sometimes takes time it takes a long time to ship. But it's not available in many Walmarts so that makes up for it. Home Depot is the only store I know that sells it when it's in stock.
