Pick up the box when it arrives and this will give you an indication of the solid product inside. I have one of the newer slim LED monitors that do without the typical 4 screw back-to-neck stand. This is a large Samsung surround monitor with a shortened base and rear bracket. This adapter fitted perfectly and was sturdy, with great installation instructions and came with all the extra bits to adapt to any base/back plate imaginable for a typical 4 bolt setup on desktop clamp monitor arms. Durable and easy to install. Sounds like a joke, but I don't care if you take my word for it. But if you do, you'll save all that time and energy by just buying that. I also bought luggage racks with the typical 4 screws from another supplier (probably from the same manufacturer). Perfectly assembled.
