I bought these bulbs for a costume I'm making for my son. The package arrived quickly and the lights are bright. They are blinking lights, and the blink speed varies; the speed cycles from slow to fast and back again. My only complaint is that the battery life is pretty atrocious. For my purposes it's adequate, I'm just using them for a Halloween costume. BUYER BEWARE: If you're planning on using them for more than a couple of hours, buy some decent batteries to swap out the ones these come with.
