Review on 💡 Halo RL460WH830PK Recessed LED Retrofit Module & Trim: White, 80 CRI, 3000K by Autumn Davis

I searched my local Home Depot and Lowes store and couldn't find these warm 3000K bulbs but I was able to find them on Revain. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts: - Tested 2700K and 3000K lighting in one of the bedrooms - 6 recessed lights, 3 on each side of the room. Color of walls, furniture etc. appeared slightly yellowish/darker on the side with the 2700K bulbs (walls painted linen white, furniture mostly dark brown). The 3000K side seemed brighter and more comfortable. I could always dim the lights when I wanted a darker look, but brighter rooms seemed more alive and brighter lights seemed better for my kids while they were reading or playing. This cemented my decision to replace the light bulbs in my house with 3000K bulbs (there was a process of replacing conventional light bulbs with LEDs). The whole family preferred brighter rooms as I changed every room. - Bought 4 of these for one of my daughter's rooms. Since this is the smallest bedroom in the house, we had 4" recessed lights in the other rooms instead of 5" recessed lights and I chose to install one of these kits rather than swap out the bulb for a smaller recessed light. In fact, when unscrewing one of the lamps, the glass came off because the base (or part of the screw of the lamp) was crooked, or the glass part of the lamp was not securely installed during the manufacturing screw, and I had to take pliers. and carefully unscrew the lamp base from the socket. - Tried various 2700K and 3000K LEDs from Home Depot and Lowes. You've probably returned 80% of the lightbulbs you bought for a variety of reasons. I usually prefer to buy things like this from B&M for easy returns, but given Halo's reputation and Revain's return policy, I was confident in taking the risk of ordering this online. The lights have now been in use for over 5 months and they still work great! - After installing 4 lamps in the room, it immediately became brighter. - I don't hum at all settings. Halo recessed lights were installed (by an electrician) about 2 years ago. Each kit took just a few minutes to install.
