I'm not sure I knew what I was getting myself into, but here we go! I'm in a love-hate relationship with these little guys. They're pretty and sturdy and each have their own little plastic cover so when you're pushing the knife through fruit/vegetables you're sending two green plastic pokers (don't lose!), a small brush and a number. comb-like items (which I can't figure out what to use for). So really everything you need! Well, as others have said, these cutters are really tiny. But for a preschooler's lunch box, they're perfect. Anyway, I don't recommend offering your child a whole "puppy bowl" as it will take half an hour of your life. I've learned that thin, flat slices work best, and then you should carefully pierce each one with a green chopstick. A toothpick works too, but you're more likely to poke a hole in your creation. Overall I like the choice for the price! And of course my daughter loves them too. She (5) has made a lot of things herself and we look forward to trying other designs!
