Who doesn't love an easy $5 fix?! After our shower bypass valve leaked so badly that there was almost no water pressure in the shower, we couldn't use it anymore. I researched the issue and realized it was probably an easy fix, watched some YouTube videos, and then ordered this kit. I fixed our diverter in under 10 minutes with a few simple tools and didn't even have to remove the tub spout. I pryed off the old plastic part with pliers, used a flat file to make sure there was no hard mineral deposits inside the spout, then fitted the new rubber grommet into the new plastic housing and slid it back onto the metal stud. . So easy and my husband was shocked when I finished this project in just minutes! I definitely recommend this easy DIY repair kit. It's great to be able to fix things yourself!
