Review on 🔆 TOPGREENER TDHS5-N Humidity Sensor Switch: Automated Control for Bathroom Fan, Adjustable Timing, UL Listed - White by Prince Ruffins

Unlike the Leviton version (which I've tried 2 of and had to return both of) this one actually feels damp and turns the fan on! I can't believe Leviton can't handle this very simple task, but it really isn't for me regardless of the settings! I also think the button on it looks a lot nicer and more secure than the one on the Leviton. When I pressed this button, I felt very uncomfortable. Cons - there are several. First, there are very few modes. You can set 3 humidity levels at which the fan turns on, but that's about it. There is no ventilation mode and no "relative difference" mode (which would turn on when the humidity increases by a certain percentage, not just based on the current actual humidity). Very typical for a custom switch, but I really prefer Leviton screw terminals. One of the biggest downsides is how this switch handles manual shutdowns. Regardless of how the switch was turned on (by manually pressing the button or detecting high humidity), if you manually press the switch to turn it off, you effectively turn off the auto-sensing mode completely until you turn the switch back on and release it to work . 20 minutes. While this would probably work for our use case, it would be terrible for a guest bathroom. I'm sure many guests come out of the bathroom and turn off the light and also press this switch to turn off the fan. When it does, the sensor stops working until the owner enters the room, turns on the switch, and lets it run for 20 minutes. I've also noticed that the front fan LED is usually white, but I've seen red before. I can't find an explanation of what that means in the manual or here. All in all I leave this because I couldn't find any other options for that wet feeling! But some tweaking is definitely needed.
