Great product, hardware could be improved

This adapter kit works very well with my Aeroblade Thule rack and makes my kayak's J-hooks modular to slide in and out. The only downside is that after a few iterations of installation and removal (less than 10) the screws started to loosen. I have replaced the OEM screws with Everbilt M6-1.0 x 12mm which better withstand repeated removal and installation. One caveat is that Everbilts don't have a safety pin in the center of the bolt.
