FIRST: THIS IS NOT THE ENTIRE KEY REPLACEMENT SYSTEM! BOWL ONLY. THIS MAY BE ENOUGH TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM. I had two bad keys (2014 Dodge Ram 1500). I called the dealer and they quoted me a price of $300-$400 for a replacement. The keys worked intermittently and started my car when I walked around with the keys in my pocket (at first I suspected bad batteries but the replacement did the same). I suspected the "guts" were fine, but a small part (under the door lock button) came loose inside the case and the buttons didn't work properly. I was able to buy two shells for about $30, take the "guts" out of the old shell, clean and replace. Everything worked great! Has been working for two months with no problems, so the new shell is holding up perfectly!.
