Wrong size and description! DO NOT BUY
Reducing is wrong! DO NOT BUY, the 1/2" part is correct, but it doesn't shrink to 3/8" but to a larger size. Waste of money, wrong description. Don't waste your time and money on this. Get it back ASAP and go to your local Lowe's or Home Depot, better pay more, at least get the right size.
