Overall I was very impressed with this product. I've always used a regular curling iron on certain occasions, but ended up having to apply hairspray to keep the curls in place. I have not used hairspray or cream with this product - I have only used hair damp from a shower and left it on for about 5 hours. I slept in them but stayed up with them all night because to be honest they are really uncomfortable to sleep on. I naturally have lots of hair and a thick texture and was surprised at how long the curls lasted even after 2 days. Definitely recommend.
