The product arrived quickly, which is very nice as I was being treated for bronchitis at the time and was struggling with very poor air quality in my apartment. I read the instructions, put the ceramic plate in and stuck it on the kitchen counter for an hour, then moved it to the bedroom (although it wasn't really necessary to move it as my apartment is quite small and I just had to keep the doors open). My whole apartment smelled amazing for 3 hours and I slept better that night than I have in years! Needless to say, it also helped speed up my recovery process at this point. We have now entered allergy season in the Pacific Northwest. Still amazed! I use it most of the time and occasionally turn it off during the day when I'm at work. My apartment smells nice all the time now and I sleep well EVERY NIGHT. By taking a break from all the air pollutants at night and not breathing in all the pollen and debris, I've found that I rarely need allergy medication anymore. I've sneezed a few times here and there, but no itchy, watery eyes, no runny nose, no breathless sneezing fits, no added fatigue from my body fighting so hard with all the pollen. This year I'm really enjoying spring without feeling like I have to hide from the pollen. Now my body gets a real rest with clean air every night instead of breathing in all the pollen and particulate matter 24/7 non-stop. I love this car! My quality of life has improved a lot and I am very happy about it. I have an older dog with some health issues and this machine has helped with those odors as well. I rarely use the ozone function, which is on a separate dial, because it is very powerful. When I turn it on, I turn it off again after about 15 minutes. Using the ionizer and ozone functions was very effective as I pointed to the open cabinet under the kitchen sink to eliminate the moldy smell caused by a slow leak I had a while back. Note: I don't usually write rave reviews for things. This little thing is amazing! No expensive filters. Beautiful view. Not too heavy, easy to move. Surprisingly effective.
