Product arrived in good condition as expected. The heater was placed in a 10-gallon moving-flow container and took the temperature from 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (dial set at 75) in about 2 hours. Note that the thermometer is on the opposite end of the tank. The temperature is easily adjusted with the included dial, and while no aquarium heater looks aesthetically pleasing (IMHO), this heater isn't overly bulky or ugly like the others. The biggest limitation I've noticed so far is that the power chord is too short, so a lengthening chord is a must for certain moods. Also, the temperature control is only 6 inches from the power cord plug (be prepared to bend down to change the temperature if you have a low ground connection).
