My star reviews may seem ambiguous. many of us seem to be having the same problem with that plate coming off, however, even three months later, I received an immediate response to my email and a no-hassle replacement from the company, as their product has a lifetime warranty. The material and slicer in this product far exceeds any press i’ve ever owned. i hope they figure out a way to correct the issue of the plate detaching.
